May I take this opportunity to introduce myself, Mark Zimmer as your Reform UK prospective parliamentary candidate for Portsmouth South.
I joined Reform UK because I felt nobody was listening to my concerns and I soon realised that I was one of many.
For years I had voted Conservative, but then I started to feel that the party had changed, not listening to people that had voted them in. This left me in no man’s land, there was no other party that I could vote for that had common sense.
Then one Sunday morning flicking through the TV channels I stumbled across Richard Tice’s ‘Sunday Sermon’. Well at first my finger was poised to change channel, but then I thought, hang on this guy is making total sense, it was refreshing to hear my worries and fears are not something that only I had but are shared by many.
That was my eureka moment and to be quite honest my wife was getting rather fed up with my constant outbursts while watching the usual news channels, who all seemed to be missing the elephants in the room, uncontrolled immigration, no border control, net zero and all the rest.
I served my time as a Fitter/Turner apprentice in HM Dockyard Portsmouth, site/safety manager both at Admiralty Quarters, Queen Street and QA Hospital, Cosham, running my own business over the last 10 years, that focuses on the repair and reuse ethos which has allowed me to play an active part in the past, present, and future of Portsmouth.
I have also been involved as a guest speaker at various local councils, Police Forces & Neighbourhood Watch groups on the subject of home security, providing practical ways of tackling domestic burglary.
Never one to shy away from addressing hot topics and finding solutions with common sense and a straight-talking approach to both local and national issues.
I am all for “Putting the unity back into our community.’’
Not this Diversity and Inclusion ideology, you cannot divide and also include, then all the changing our grammar and of the meaning of words, the emperors new clothes is a great fable, its just some people still refuse to see the obvious.
I believe in free speech, but with free speech there is a responsibility, being open, honest, and thoughtful, built on facts not assumptions, and real debates not a shouting match.
I relish the opportunity to champion the causes and concerns that we, the unheard
majority feel are not being taken seriously by the unseen policymakers.

- We will leave the EHRC.

- We will bring Northern Ireland back into the United Kingdom & remove the border in the Irish Sea.
- We will scrap ULEZ & its proposed expansion to towns and cities nationwide.
- We are proud of being British, proud of our history, proud of our leading role in establishing human rights. We’re anti-woke, anti WEF and in favour of retaining cash.
